Apply to be an official WKU Tour Guide for the Office of Admissions! Tour Guides are paid and undergo a full semester of training to prepare for group tours, private tours, and field trips. Tour Guides share their experience and passion for WKU, while showing the beauty of our campus to potential Hilltoppers.
Tour Guides are selected based on campus involvement, academic standing, and their eagerness to bring new students to WKU. Serving as a campus Tour Guide will be very beneficial for enhance public speaking skills, problem solving skills, and networking abilities. If selected, there will be an in-person interview process.
WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS OF TOUR GUIDES?
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Full-time enrollment as an undergraduate student
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to speak in front of large groups
- Strong passion for WKU
