It's almost time to move Home to the Hill for the spring semester! 

The residence halls open for move-in on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 8 AM CT. 

Spring semester classes begin on Tuesday, January 17th. 

When You Arrive to WKU

1. Go directly to your residence hall to check-in at the front desk.
   
   
2. Please bring your WKU ID*. Your ID will not work at the front entrance until you check in at the front desk.
   
   *If you still need a WKU ID Card, please plan to arrive to campus on Friday, January 13, 2023. The ID Center is open 8 AM - 4:30 PM on Friday. If you are unable to get your WKU ID card at that time, you can still move in, and then get your ID on Tuesday, January 17 at 8 AM, however we highly recommend arriving on Friday.
   
   ID-related questions can be directed to the WKU ID Center at (270)745-2417.
   
   
3. After unloading, please relocate your vehicle from the unloading zone to allow others to unload. Enforcement of housing lots begins on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 4:30 PM. Normal parking regulations and transit service resumes on Tuesday, January 17. 2023. Learn more at wku.edu/transportation.

Move-In Schedule

Students hoping to avoid high-traffic move-in times are encouraged to arrive during early morning hours (7-10am) on Saturday and Sunday, or late evening hours (8-11pm).

Traditionally, all-day Friday, mid-afternoon on Sunday, and late-afternoon Monday are the busiest timeframes.

Please Note: Move-in carts are not provided. You are welcome to bring your own moving equipment as needed.

Room Changes

Students with a pre-approved pending room change are asked to return early to complete their room change and avoid moving on Sunday or Monday.

New room change requests for spring 2023 will begin to be accepted on Friday, January 20 at 7 AM on the WKU Housing Portal. Room change requests end Thursday, February 9 to prepare for Housing Renewal.

Not Continuing in WKU Housing and Need to Move Out?
