Welcome to The Hill for the Fall 2023 Semester! Here are some reminders from Parking & Transportation Services.
Normal parking and transportation operations resume with the start of the Fall Semester.
Parking:
- Housing permit zones will be enforced for the correct permit beginning Sunday, August 20th at 4:30 PM. Vehicles must display the correct housing permit for the lot they are parked in.
- Commuter permit zones will be enforced for the correct permit beginning Monday, August 21st at 7:30AM.
- Faculty/Staff permit zones FS1 and FS2 will no longer be interchangeable beginning Monday, August 21st. FS3 permit zones remain in effect year-round.
- Student permits are never honored in Faculty/Staff Lots from 7:30AM – 4:30PM M-F.
Transit:
- Full transit services begin Monday, August 21st at 7:15AM.
- Route 1 South Campus, Route 2 Kentucky Street Route, and Route 3 Campus Circulator provide transit service throughout campus.
- Route 4 Shopping Shuttle provides service from Main Campus to off-campus shopping destinations.
- Walmart
- Meijers Grocery Store
- Greenwood Mall
- Topper Taxi On-Demand Service provides evening service on both Main Campus and South Campus after transit buses stop running for the day.
- New for Fall 2023: Use the Translōc app and your WKU NetID to log in and request service. https://transloc.com/
- Service hours are 6:00pm – 9:00pm Monday – Friday and 4:30pm – 9:00pm on Sunday.
- Paratransit service is available Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm. Contact PTS at
270-745-2361 to register for this service or for assistance shifting from TapRide to Translōc.
