Free On-Campus NAMI Support Group for Students Struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Suicidal Ideation, and Other Mental Health Concerns

A free, confidential support group for current WKU students struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, suicidal ideation or other mental health issues is availalbe

The group is led by two NAMI certified facilitators who are in mental health recovery themselves. This group has the support of the WKU Counseling and Testing Center and is a not a substitute (rather a supplement) for therapy or medication.

The group is sponsored by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)-Bowling Green Affiliate. Meetings are free, confidential, and take place in Room 201 of the Academic Complex (AC) from 6-7:30 pm (CST) on the following Mondays: September 11, September 25, October 9, November 6, November 20, December 4

Pizza and drinks are provided at meetings.

No formal mental health diagnosis is required for students to attend. Meetings are strictly confidential and non-group members (or press) are not permitted to attend.
